Grapevine Parking Levels and Hotel Floors Need Different Coatings
A parking level is a deck, not an interior floor, and that decides the product in downtown Grapevine. The transit complex at Main Street and Dallas Road is a 210,000-square-foot mixed-use building with retail, offices and structured parking. Its garage levels take rain blown through open sides, tires and tracked-in grit, so they get a waterproof deck coating with a wear layer in the drive lanes. An interior epoxy floor would be the wrong build there.
That same garage holds more than 550 spaces shared between the commuter rail station and a 120-room hotel next door, which opened around 2019. A garage serving trains and hotel guests cannot close at once. Work would run one level or one bay at a time, with the rest open and signed.
Hotels bring a second floor type. Beside the downtown hotel, Grapevine also holds the Gaylord Texan Resort and Great Wolf Lodge, and back-of-house corridors, loading areas and service rooms in buildings like those carry carts, mop water and spills. Those floors take epoxy or urethane cement rather than a deck system.
Grapevine is our closest Tarrant trip, about 33 minutes from the Garland shop with light traffic, longer by day. A phased deck means many return visits, and a shorter run keeps that schedule workable.
