Heath's new Fire Station 31 on FM 740 is the clearest epoxy floor in a mostly residential city. For private bays and offices we quote epoxy; for Heath garages, polyurea flake.

The clearest epoxy floor in Heath right now is a public one. City of Heath Fire Station 31, at 1284 FM 740, is a new 9,128-square-foot station whose state filing runs from February to December 2026. Apparatus bays take heavy trucks, hose water and cleaning chemicals, which is the kind of floor epoxy under a heavier topcoat is often chosen for. This station's floor, though, is set in the city's construction documents, and we have not reviewed them.
Most Heath searches for epoxy come from homeowners, and their answer is different. Buffalo Creek homes around the golf course went up between 1991 and 2007, and one 1991 listing there shows a three-car attached garage. Heath Golf and Yacht Club is newer, with 2022 and 2024 builds carrying twocar garages; the post office labels it Forney, yet the community lies within Heath. Those garages get our polyurea flake floor, and a thirty-year-old Buffalo Creek slab simply needs more prep than a new one.
From the Garland shop to Heath City Hall takes about 28 minutes over I-30 with light traffic, a best case measured after midnight. Rush hour on the lake crossing adds to that. Distance does not change how a Heath floor is priced, so a small private bay or office here is quoted the same way as one close to the shop.
Buffalo Creek grew up around Buffalo Creek Golf Club, and sampled houses there date from 1991, 1999 and 2007. One 1991 home on the course has a three-car attached garage and an in-ground pool and spa. A garage slab that age can hold old sealer and oil, and the pool surround is separate concrete with its own wear, so Nick writes up prep for each.

New Builds at Heath Golf and Yacht Club
Ground broke in January 2018 on 787 acres, with about 1,200 home sites planned. Streets there mail as Forney 75126, yet the community sits inside Heath, and part of it falls in Kaufman County. Sampled lots run about a tenth of an acre with two-car garages, so the garage is usually the main slab to finish, often within a year or two of closing.
03
Lakefront Lots in Crystal Shores
Crystal Shores has lots of an acre or more on Lake Ray Hubbard, the City of Dallas reservoir along Heath’s west side. One 2008 estate there has a covered boat dock and a resort-style pool. Properties like that carry the most concrete on any list: pool surround, patios, walks and garage. We measure every area and price each one separately.
04
Cracking Clay Under the County
The Texas State Historical Association describes Rockwall County, where most of Heath lies, as Blackland Prairie with cracking, clayey subsoils. Pool decks and patios sit out in the rain and the dry spells, while a garage slab stays covered. Cracks are filled in prep on every surface, and the polyurea base is one Nick calls four times more flexible than epoxy.

Why Heath chooses DFW Classic
The Distance, Honestly Stated
Heath is about 28 minutes from our Garland shop outside rush hour. Daytime traffic takes longer. We confirm your address and current appointment options rather than promising an unverified arrival or lead time.
Prep That Fits Your Floor
Nick sees your Heath concrete in person. Size, age, stains, existing coatings and daily use shape the recommendation, and your written quote explains the preparation needed.

My Buffalo Creek garage is from the early 1990s. Epoxy or polyurea?
Polyurea. A Buffalo Creek garage in Heath gets our polyurea flake floor, because we keep epoxy for commercial work. Homes there date from 1991 to 2007, so the oldest slabs have had more than thirty years to collect cracks, oil and old sealer, and all of that is ground or filled first. Nick rates the polyurea base at about four times epoxy's flexibility. Book a garage visit at (214) 550-9809.
Does a Heath fire-station apparatus bay take epoxy?
Often, yes: apparatus bays are a common setting for epoxy under a heavier topcoat, since trucks, hose water and cleaners all hit the floor. In Heath, though, the one station we know of, Fire Station 31 on FM 740, has its floor set in the city's construction documents, which we have not seen. For a private Heath bay still being planned, Nick can walk it and recommend a system. Call (214) 550-9809.
What will epoxy flooring in Heath cost me?
Heath epoxy flooring is priced after a free walk, and you get one written number rather than a per-foot rate. Square footage sets the base, then slab condition, old coatings, crack repair and the topcoat build move it. If the floor turns out to be a home garage, the quote comes in polyurea instead, and a three-car garage runs higher than a two-car on footage alone. Ask for yours at (214) 550-9809.
How long is a Heath floor out of use during an epoxy job?
For a Heath epoxy floor, the closed period is install time plus cure, and both appear in your written schedule before work starts. Square footage and repairs set the number of install days, and a bay that has to stay in service can be planned around. A Heath home garage on our polyurea system is usually a one-day install, with cure time before you park again. Plan your dates at (214) 550-9809.
Which parts of Heath do your epoxy crews reach?
Every part of Heath falls inside our epoxy flooring area. With light traffic the shop is about 28 minutes away over I-30, a best case that stretches at rush hour. We reach the FM 740 corridor and the golfcourse streets of Buffalo Creek, plus Stoneleigh, Crystal Shores and Highlands of Heath. Heath Golf and Yacht Club counts too, despite its Forney mailing label, as does the small Kaufman County slice of the city. Call (214) 550-9809.
Before calling about epoxy, what should Heath owners sort out?
Sort out what the floor is first, because in Heath that decides whether epoxy is even in the picture. A business bay or office may suit epoxy, while a home garage gets polyurea flake. Know the rough square footage and the age of the slab, since an early-1990s Buffalo Creek floor needs more prep than a 2024 one. If an association reviews visible changes, ask us for product sheets. Then call (214) 550-9809.
Do you coat floors for Heath city buildings?
Not on a promise we cannot keep: a Heath city building follows the city's own construction documents, so its floor system is not settled at a contractor's walk. What we can do is walk a private Heath building, such as a shop bay, a clinic or an office suite, and quote epoxy or another system on paper, with the reason for the choice written down. Facility questions go to (214) 550-9809.
