Commercial Floor Coatings Inside Forney's Mustang Creek Flex Buildings
Most of Forney's small industrial floors cluster in Mustang Creek Business Park. The Forney EDC lists it at 54 acres and 137 buildings of 5,000 to 30,000 square feet, split into north and south parks reached from US 80 and I-20. The one building we have checked against city limits is 110 Industrial Dr. Built in 1994, it runs about 9,673 square feet as a flex showroom, with roughly 3,350 square feet of office, about 5,650 of warehouse on heavy three-phase power, skylights, three grade-level drive-in doors and no docks. A slab past thirty years can carry an old sealer, oil or opened joints, and we test for each before pricing.
Three kinds of floor share that roof. Showroom and office space up front see customers and staff on foot and want a clean finish that mops easily. The warehouse behind takes carts and vehicles rolling in at grade, and the heavy power suggests equipment standing on the slab. Skylights put daylight on parts of that floor, which we weigh when choosing the topcoat. Your scope names a system for each zone instead of one product wall to wall.
Forney is the shortest of our Kaufman County trips: about 25 minutes and 19.6 miles down US-80 from Garland, in a best-case reading taken with light traffic. Daytime runs longer. A building under 10,000 square feet, split into three zones, is a modest job, so the drive belongs in the cost conversation from the first call.
