Patio, Pool Deck and Garage Floor Coatings in Highland Village, Texas

Classic Concrete Coatings is an owner-operated company Nick Brown started in 2018, working out of 106 N Shiloh Road in Garland. Denton County is one of the four counties he chose to grow into. Highland Village City Hall, on Highland Village Road, is about 38 minutes away at night on I-635 and the I-35E express lanes, and longer once the daytime traffic builds.

Outdoor concrete matters here as much as the garage. Listings show private pools in places like Castlewood, Highland Shores runs three community pools, and back patios take years of sun. We finish them with color flake under a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat, or seal a pool deck where Nick judges a sealer fits better. Garages get the same polyurea and flake system with a clear top.

Highland Village is a small city of about 6.5 square miles, wholly in Denton County. Lewisville wraps it on the south and east, Flower Mound sits to the south and Copper Canyon to the west. Highland Shores is the largest community, alongside Chapel Hill, Castlewood, Briarhill Estates and Wichita Estates.

Built around local conditions

Local Concrete Coating Expertise in Highland Village

01

Highland Shores, Begun in 1985

Mobil Land started Highland Shores in 1985 on 980 acres of hills and woods along the lake. It now holds more than 1,800 homes and three community swimming pools. A 1990 listing there has a two-car garage, typical of that era. Slabs from those first phases are 35 years old or more, so grinding and crack repair come before any flake goes down.

02

From Clearwater Estates to Wichita Estates

The first house went up around 1957 in Clearwater Estates, and the city incorporated in 1963. Briarhill Estates listings date to 1987, Castlewood and Chapel Hill to the early 2000s, and one Wichita Estates home to 2017, already marketed with epoxy garage floors. About two-thirds of homes here were built between 1970 and 1999, so most of our prep is for older concrete.

03

Rolling Lots and Outdoor Slabs

The ground here rolls, and Highland Shores describes its land as hills and wooded acreage. On a sloped lot, the patio, the pool deck and the garage can each sit at a different level and take different sun. Nick measures and checks each one on its own, then puts them on a single written quote.

04

Nine in Ten Owners, One Big Association

Highland Village homes are 91.9 percent owner-occupied, and nearly all are single-family houses. The Highland Shores Owners Association covers more than 1,800 of them. If your association looks at visible changes, we can provide the product sheet and flake color name for the request, and the approval stays with them.

The Distance, Honestly Stated

Highland Village is about 38 minutes from our Garland shop outside rush hour. Daytime traffic takes longer. We confirm your address and current appointment options rather than promising an unverified arrival or lead time.

Prep That Fits Your Floor

Nick sees your Highland Village concrete in person. Size, age, stains, existing coatings and daily use shape the recommendation, and your written quote explains the preparation needed.

Written Residential Protection

Qualifying residential flake systems include a 15-year written warranty. Ask Nick to explain coverage and exclusions for the specific surfaces on your quote; do not assume every outdoor or commercial system carries the same terms.

Highland Village Patio, Deck and Garage Coating Questions

How much does a coating cost in Highland Village?

Your Highland Village price follows a free on-site estimate and is provided in writing. Square footage, slab condition, old coatings, preparation and the number of areas determine the scope. Ask to have the garage, patio or other surfaces assessed together. Call (214) 550-9809 to discuss your project.

Do you serve Highland Village?

Yes. Highland Village is an approved part of our service area, including Highland Shores, Chapel Hill, Castlewood, Briarhill Estates, Wichita Estates, Clearwater Estates. We operate from Garland, about 38 minutes away in light traffic and longer during the day. Confirm your street address with us; ZIP codes and school districts alone do not always identify city limits. Call (214) 550-9809.

How quickly can you get to Highland Village?

The off-peak drive is about 38 minutes from Garland, but that is not an appointment lead time. Availability depends on current projects, your address, weather and the requested work. Nick calls before coming to your home. Call (214) 550-9809 for current estimate options and project-specific scheduling.

What should Highland Village homeowners know before coating a patio or pool deck?

Outdoor concrete in Highland Village needs a finish that handles sun, and a pool deck may need a sealer instead of a coating. For patios we use color flake under a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat, and Nick walks each pool deck before choosing. Many homes here date from the 1970s through the 1990s, so older patios usually need grinding and crack repair first. Set up a Highland Village walkthrough through the form, or phone (214) 550-9809.

How quickly can you get to Highland Village?

Highland Village is about 38 minutes from our shop with light traffic, and daytime drives on I-635 and I-35E run longer. That reading is to City Hall, and in a city of about 6.5 square miles most homes sit a short hop from it. Nick calls ahead the day before to confirm, and before an install you receive an automatic text 24 hours out. To hear about the next Highland Village opening, phone (214) 550-9809 or use the form.

How many days will a Highland Village coating job take?

Most single-area home installs finish in one day, so a Highland Village garage or patio is usually finished the same day it starts. Adding a pool deck or a second area can stretch the work, and Nick tells you the plan at the estimate. Three-car garages in Chapel Hill or Castlewood take longer to grind than a two-car bay. Ask about timing at (214) 550-9809.

Which coatings work best on Highland Village patios, pool decks and garages?

Highland Village garages get our three-part system: polyurea base, full color flake broadcast, clear polyaspartic top. Patios use the same flake with that UV-stable top. Pool decks are decided at the walkthrough, coating or sealer, depending on the concrete and how the deck is used. A 2017 Wichita Estates home already sells its epoxy garage floor, and Nick checks any existing coating before quoting. Talk through finishes at your estimate or call (214) 550-9809.

Is warranty support available in Highland Village?

Qualifying residential flake systems include a 15-year written warranty, supported by our Garland-based company. The project paperwork explains exact coverage and exclusions. Ask Nick about the particular garage, outdoor area or detached building you want coated rather than assuming all systems have identical terms. Call (214) 550-9809 to discuss your project.
